White Ribbon Day

White Ribbon Day is a day of action where men say no to violence against women. Nambucca Valley Domestic Violence Group will have information stall outside Nambucca Heads News Agency on Thursday morning 24th November 2011.
At 12.30 a group of men will walk around to the Youth Centre and sign a pledge. If there are any men interested in signing the pledge they are most welcome to join in.

Grandparent Day

MiiMi House and Bowraville Pre School will be working together to hold a Special Morning Tea for Granparents Day.

Grandparents Day is celebrated on the first Sunday of November each year and is a chance for grandchildren, children and the community to thank grandparents for their love and support.

Bowraville Junior Rugby League

MiiMi would like to thank the Bowraville Junior Rugby League for the opportunity to participate in their presentation day held at the Bowraville Race Course on Sunday the 25th September 2011. It was a wonderful day, we hope there weren't to many upset belly's with all the fairy floss and slushy's.

We hope you all enjoyed our activity table, face painting and the show bags.

Big congratulations to Brady Atkins and Owen Harris on winning a $25 gift vouchers at Nambucca Sports Store donated by MiiMi for the colouring competition.

Congratulations to all the boys on a fantastic year, especially to the Under 15's for their Grand Final win.

MiiMi looks forward to continuing our partnership in 2012.

Youthfest Funding

MiiMi has been given the opportunity to distribute funding on behalf of the NSW Commission for Children and Young People. Seven local Youth Services along the Mid North Coast have been successful in their applications and will hold a Youthfest event in their local area targeting young people between the ages of 9 - 18 years.

Bowraville Producers Market Day

Unfortunately we have decided to cancel the Bowraville Producers Market Days held on the 3rd Friday of each month. I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all our regular stall holders and customers for their on going support, it was a pleasure to work with you and meet you all.

Jonny Mac to perform at Bowraville Producers Market Day

On Friday the 19th August 2011 at 10.00 to 2.00 the Bowraville Producers Market are not to be missed this month, due to popular demand Jonny Mac will be returning to entertain the crowd with live music in the main street.

Enjoy the acoustic sounds of his unplugged 12 string guitar. Songs consist of country/folk to pop. Artists such as: Jon Denver, Jonny Cash, The Beatles, Slim Dusty and many more.

Come along, sit back and enjoy the incrediable music on offer in the main street all while wondering the stalls that provide fresh local produce and unique products and giftware that are a must to see.

What a great market day in July

I would like to say a big thank you to all our stall holders, customers, businesses and a special thank you to the thoughtful person that decorated the street, what a lovely thought, it looked bright and caught the eye and also gave the whole town a wonderful atomosphere. It was a great day and i think everyone enjoyed Barry Noble, thank you too, Barry for your entertainment.

JULY - BOWRAVILLE PRODUCERS MARKET DAY AND LIVE MUSIC ON THE STREET WITH NOBLE GROOVE

It's that time again - The Bowraville Producers Market Day will be held on Friday the 15th July at the usual time of 10.00am to 2.00pm and will feature live entertainment.

The extremely talented duo Barry and Carmen Noble will perform in the main street of Bowraville next to the Post Office from 11.00am and entertain us through until 1.00pm.

Noble Groove is versatile and can entertain audiences of all ages. Artists consist of Johnny Cash, Slim Dusty, Lee Kernigan, Eagles, Neil Diamond, Roy Robinson and many more...

Wht not come out to Bowraville for an exciting change, take a stroll around the stalls, shops or just sit back and be entertained with live music.

Jumbaal Dreamin at Bowraville Market Day in June

On Friday 17th June 2011 at 10.00am to 2.00pm The June Bowraville Producers Markets are not to be missed, with Jumbaal Dreamin performing on the Day.

Jumbaal Dreamin is a local indigenous band and dance collective from Bowraville. Founded by Uncle Martin Ballangarry they perform original songs as well as select covers.

Come along, sit back, relax, enjoy the incredible music on offer, while wondering around the stalls that provide fresh local produce and unique products and giftware that are a must to see.

What a great day! The weather was beautiful, there were quite a few stalls spread out through the street with a variety of produce and products. Lots of people wondering around listening to the live music with Jonny Mac in the Main Street. What an atomosphere!!!

The live music seems to be a Hit, so we will stick with it.

April Producers Market Day

The Bowraville Producers Market Day was held on Friday the 15th April 2011. Thank goodness the weather held out for us, it was a beautiful day. Carly did a wonderful job painting the childrens faces, a big thank you to Carly.

Free Childrens Face Painting

On Friday the 15th April 2011 during the school holidays the Bowraville Markets will be held from 10.00am through until 2.00pm.

MiiMi has invited Carly from Indowiz to come along from 11.00am to 1.00pm and paint the childrens faces.

Why not bring the kids along and have their faces painted as their favourite animal or character.

March Market Day with Bowraville Central School Music Class

The March Market day was held on Friday the 18th. Bowraville Central School Music Class entertained the crowd. Keep an eye out for these talented young people, they are amazing. Students played the conga and the guitar and also sung a variety of songs.

To all the students, you were brilliant and we hope to see you perform for us again in the future.

March Market and Exciting Live Entertainment

MiiMi's Bowraville Producers Market Day has some more exciting entertainment on the street in March.
Students from Bowraville Central School will be singing, playing instuments including the guitar and the conga.
Come along and support our local school and community and listen to these talented students play easy listening music and play all your favourite songs.
Why not try something different and bring the family along, wonder around the stalls, shops and be entertained with live local music.

February Producers Market Day

On the 25th February we held the Bowraville Producers Market Day. It coincided with the Social Enterprise for Mental Health and Wellbeing Conference that Kerry Grace organised. Kerry did an amazing job attracting a large crowd of visitors and conference delegates to the town.


We had a number of new stallholders on the day, Thank you i hope you all had a great day and hope to see you again in the following months and a very big THANK YOU to our faithful stallholders that have turn up month after month. We could not do it without you.


Barry and Carmen Noble entertained the crowd on the day and they were amazing, it was so much fun and everyone commented how great ti was to listen to live

February - Bowraville Producers Market Day

The February Bowraville Producers Market Day will be held on Friday the 25th of February 2011 at the usual time of 10.00am to 2.00pm.

The market day will coincide with the Social Enterprise for Wellbeing and Mental Health Conference and will also feature live entertainment.

We expect larger than normal crowd with conference delegates visiting Bowraville on the day.

MiiMi is pleased to include the extremely talented Barry and Carmen Noble to perform in the main street from 11.00am and will entertain the crowd through until 1.00pm.
